Hilal Cement Company (HCC) was established in 1979 as a Kuwait Joint Stock Company specialized in the import and distribution of cement products. Listed on Boursa Kuwait. Operates one land terminal and one floating terminal in Shuaiba port in Kuwait, with a combined storage capacity of 90k tons. Through its subsidiaries, Hilal Cement owns and operates eight ready mix concrete batching plants. In 2007, BoodaiCorp sold 51% of the company to Suez Cement Company, a subsidiary of Heidelberg Cement Group. In early 2021, BoodaiCorp re-acquired 51% of the company from Suez Cement Company.
